Both of these operations have continued to grow over the years. At the same time they changed the nature of the coffee shop by expanding into the building to the south of the bakery, by opening up the Bieroc Café. Each agency decided which types of events to host during Nebraska Public Transit Week.
Agencies hosted Buy One Get One Free Buddy Days and Passenger Appreciation Days with free or discounted rides for passengers. Open houses and garages provided agencies the opportunity to promote their services to the community. One of the most popular event types was Stuff the Bus, where agencies collaborated with a charity and encouraged the public to bring items that would benefit that charity's cause. The agency loaded the donations into a bus to display progress towards the goal, and then delivered the items to the charity afterward.

The collection began in 1979 with an un-signed Red Fender Lead II guitar from Eric Clapton, who was a regular at the first restaurant in London. Clapton wanted management to hang the guitar over his regular seat in order to lay claim to that spot, and they obliged. Marquee pieces from the collection were briefly displayed in a Hard Rock museum named "The Vault" in Orlando, Florida from January 2003 until September 2004. After the closure, items were distributed to various restaurant locations. The London Vault remains open and free to visitors, located in the retail Rock Shop of the original cafe. I had finished my cup and wanted to buy some coffee beans to bring home as well.
Browsing the selection, I was torn between a South American and an Indian roast. To be honest, I didn't want either, since I prefer African coffee. Reluctantly, I had decided on the Indian roast, when I suddenly noticed the third option from Rwanda – specifically from Buf Remera.
" Gro Anita suddenly exclaimed from behind the counter, "We went to Africa to meet the coffee farmers and to see how they make coffee beans." I was truly impressed. Visiting a coffee farm is something I have been wanting to do myself, for a long time. "Everything changed about coffee for me after that visit," Gro Anita continued, "Now I understand the process from start to finish." I believe her and can only imagine how wonderful it must have been. I have no idea about Gro Anita's background story, and from whence she came, but I'm so glad about where she's headed now. The Powiśle district's main boulevard on the left bank of the Vistula was once the preserve of dodgy bikers and lonely fishermen. Thanks to Poland's economic boom it now resembles a carnival every summer, when the temperature usually tops 30C. Time to abandon preconceptions that Warsaw is grey and cold because in the best part of the year it really is green and hot. Pubs and riverboats offer craft beers and cocktails, with street food ranging from pierogi dumplings to pho soup .
Powiśle was on the frontline in the Warsaw uprising against Nazi Germany and wears its shrapnel scars with pride. It's fitting that the district is now all about people having cycling, roller-blading, volleyball, trampolining, picnics, people deckchairs, ice-cream, live music, dancing and playing in the sand. The hippest place for a drink is La Fabrica de Hielo, a huge bar in a former ice factory, one road back from the beach (C/Jose Ballaster Gonzalvo 37). It has a busy programme of live music and arts events and tapas supplied by a food caravan.
While Stockholm tries hard to impress, with polished, hyper-stylised spots, the second city is more naturally cool, and nowhere more so than Järntorget and Långgatorna, where locals go to let off steam. This spot on the south bank of the Gota was once where sailors and dockworkers with money in their pockets went looking for a good time, and a lively pub culture marks the neighbourhood to this day. It also had a seedier side that has long been replaced with restaurants, culture and even an annual street party, Hela Dagen Lång, that is the closest thing Sweden has to Notting Hill Carnival. Hard Rock Cafe typically does not franchise cafe locations in the United States. All US cafes are corporate owned and operated, except for cafes in Tampa and the Four Winds New Buffalo casino. However, in the transition of the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel property originally owned and then later sold to Rank by founder Peter Morton, Morton retained hotel naming rights west of the Mississippi. When Morton sold his Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel to the Morgans Hotel Group, he also sold those naming rights, which then gave rise to two US franchised hotels in Albuquerque and Tulsa.
